Because of the bad decisions made in the story. For example at the beginning of the book, we see Romeo and Juliet start to fall in love. Later Romeo starts to talk about marriage with Juliet, but Juliet thinks it's foolish to get married because what if her father denies her last name, she worries if she will no longer be a Capulet. ¨O Romeo, Romeo wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse my name? Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, And ill no longer be a Capulet. (2.2.33-35).
