Hiring Non US citizens to work in American factories The journal article “Michael Bianco Inc. - Immigrant Workers to Save Costs” written by Lynn Ruggieri references a rather small organization in 2001 with an employee count of 85. The organization was awarded contracts worth multimillions and they were form the department of defense. A growing organization now has 500 employees by 2004. Homeland security watched the organization and raided it to find 300 illegal workers, unfair work conditions, workers doing double shifts at single pay and working in unheated areas.

In a diverse multi-cultural city such as Houston, Texas, immigrants own the majority of small businesses. The objective of this multiple case study was to explore strategies immigrant small business owners in Houston, Texas, practiced sustaining their businesses beyond 5 years.
Texas has been fighting hard against the Obama Administration's attempts to give illegals citizenship. The governor of Texas is now cracking down on cities in the state are offering sanctuaries to illegal immigrants. Greg Abbot recently wrote a letter to Sheriff Lupe Valdez stating that Texas will not put up with the sanctuary nonsense that other states are offering, such as California. Lupe recently announced that she would make decisions on a case by case basis about whether to detain illegal immigrants. However, Abbot stated that Lupe is trying to endanger the people that she has vowed to protect.
Migrant Workers in the United States For centuries the United States remains to be an ideal country for job opportunities. Therefore, migrants make up a tremendous number of America’s population. Immigrants have significantly impacted many aspects of life in the United States. Migrant workers are spread across the country and continue filling underpaid positions that American citizen would never take. Immigrants are the easiest targets for exploitation; employers continue to take advantage of these illegal workers by hiring them to do unfair laborious and physically demanding jobs.
The workforce in most industrialized countries is aging and becoming more age-diverse. And immigrant workers play a large and important role in our economy and society. As child-care providers, food preparation workers, home health care aides, software programmers and construction workers, these workers constitute a significant labor force and provide services that millions more workers depend upon.
