The evening passed by and still no word from Anthony. Carly looked forward to Friday nights, because it was the one night that Angel was allowed to stay up with her, and didn’t have to be in bed by eight o’clock. She always let Angel pick out what movie they would watch, and what they would eat for dinner, and then later they would pop some corn, spread their sleeping bags out on the living room floor and pretend they were having a slumber party. Sometimes, they would go ahead and put their matching night shirts on just for the fun of it, and other times they would leave their clothes on until it was time to crawl into the bags to go to sleep.

In the book Crescendo there are lots of twists and turns. In the story Nora is hanging out with Scott more and more. Patch tries to warn her that something is going to happen. Since the archangels are watching Nora and Patch closely, they can’t talk to each other out in the open. Patch figures out how to talk to Nora in her dream.

Quickwrite #1- AQWF In this part of the book, Paul and his friends are out on the front re-wiring the front line with new barbed and communication wires when they hear the shrill cries of injured and badly wounded horses. Additionally, during the bombing, one of their soldiers becomes badly wounded in his leg and will most likely die or never be able to walk again. There is a similarity between this young soldier and the injured horses, made apparent by the comparison the author makes between the two. The young soldier, while human, is helpless after getting injured and will likely die if he is not helped soon.
