When it comes to success, the necessary factor people would always refer to is either their hard work or the luck in the process of success which would bring them opportunities. Just like Bryan Cranston, a famous American actor said, “Luck is a component that a lot of people in the arts sometimes fail to recognize: that you can have talent, perseverance, patience, but without luck you will not have a successful career.”(Frank 2016) However, Colin Powell, the 65th United States Secretary of State and also a retired four-star general in the United States Army, said that, “A dream doesn 't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work”(Colin Powell 2003) Certainly, people would always view things differently from their own perspectives. For example, teachers are always telling their students that only working hard enough could they get success instead of depending on the good luck. whereas entrepreneurs would usually say that it is the good luck that brings them good chances in their business which lead them to success. However, on the other hand, if students sometimes do better in their study because of the good fortune, they may feel more confident and then even do better than their own expectations in the future. First, hard work is always the precondition of success. No matter what you want to finish perfectly, hard work and sweat are necessary. Then, people whose livelihood depend more on luck also have to acquire lots of knowledge which comes from your effort before they make choices. Last, people would be more confident if their hard work gets rewarded, and in turn helps you make more achievements.
