Tulsa - During these past few days, Ponyboy has been in contact with one of the bumpiest roads in his life that could ever happen. To be under hiding as wanted by police for the manslaughter of Robert “Bob” Sheldon. Regardless, in recent measures is now being praised as a child savior from a recent fire in Windrixville. Moreover, Ponyboy no longer under the custody of his parents due to a horrific car crash has been living with his older brothers Darry along with Sodapop Curtis. These trio of brothers have been living in desperation as Darry has a life of two different occupations.
Should Ponyboy be sent to foster care? Ponyboy is a 14 year old boy living with his brothers. His parents died 6 months ago. Foster care is a temporarily place, where children in bad situations are sent. Sending Ponyboy to foster care is the best choice because he will be able to get proper care, live in a good, stable home, and neither of his brothers have experience of child care.
Here, she clearly voices that he does have psychologically been damaged from past events and it has stuck with him throughout his life. Ponyboy will most likely never go back to being
In the dramatic story “The Outsiders” Ponyboy is always in a dangerous situation, ever since his parents passed away his older brother Darry has been taking care of him and his second older brother Sodapop who is also under Darry’s custody, which proves that he’s not only dealing with one teenager, but with two, and being a young man himself, he has his own problems. Reading the story “The Outsiders,” Ponyboy has always been worried if he would be taken away to a boys home but he doesn't understand that it might be better for him even if he is taken away from Darry, some readers are wondering what is best for him should he stay or should go into a boys home. Ponyboy is better off in a boys home because he will be better taken care of.
Do you believe Pony Boy should stay with Darry and Soda Pop or go to a foster care? I believe Pony Boy should go to foster care. However, he should go to foster care considering while living with his brother, he got into many fights, and he also smoked. If he were in foster care they would make him stop smoking.
If Pony is going to be put in a foster home, anyone needs to find some background on it, Pony will not be put in a foster home because of Darry and Soda work very hard for Pony to have a great life, Pony will be with his family, and Darry and Soda make Pony do positive things. Therefore, Pony will not be going into a foster home. He will remain with Darry and
but I think he has the brains in the story because he thinks about a problem before he deals with it. Pony boy is also a loyal friend he will be there for a friend when every they need him there. When his parents died he could of gone anywhere he wanted to but he chose to stay with Darry and Sodapop witch was good for him. When Johnny stabed Bill
None the less , anyone would want to stay with the remnants of family they have left. Even though foster care might seem like a better choice, no one can know the outcome of a new home and family. Ponyboy’s brothers care for him financially because both of them dropped out of school and got jobs to earn a income. “Darry trying to run a family and hold on to two jobs and never having fun”(p.43).This shows that his brother darry is dedicated to supporting ponyboy.
Have you ever read or watched the movie The Outsiders? I have, and a Character named Pony Boy goes through a lot in the movie and the book. Since his mom and dad died him and his brothers have been living together. There were some cases that he was scared to be put in a foster home. In this essay I am going to be telling whether or not I feel like he should go in a foster home.
You HAD to help the kids in the fire. You had to be the one that was thrown out of the building before him. He would be here without your stupidity. You never use your head and we all made excuses for you, but this time, you cost us Johnny.” Ponyboy looked up with dismay.
This quotation supports my statement because it he said to not worry, because he’ll get them which shows he’s courageous and helps others. Ponyboy is also very strong and not a coward. One of the quotations that can support my statement is when he goes inside the burning church and it was “a red hell”, Ponyboy said, “I should be scared, I thought with an old detached feeling, but I’m not.” (p. 92)
”Things were rough all over but it was beter that way” he states. Ponyboy always fought through every task even when it was difficult, Ponyboy never gives up. Pony says “I’ll get them out, don’t worry”. He risks his life for others and does the right act even when it envoles helping a person he doesn’t like.
Ponyboy is a hero. He always thinks of others before himself. For example he saves the kids in the church, were as some one how is not a hero would think about them selfs and think it is too dangerous. He is very selfless for example he broke a glass to scare of the group of three Socs that were ganging up on him but then he picked up the glass because he was worried that someone would get a flat trier.
Other’s think Ponyboy should stay with Darry because their close so they think Ponyboy would be sad in a home but, I disagree because Ponyboy haves less chances going to jail or, even getting lung cancer. Ponyboy is better off in the system because he hangs out with bad influences and because his guardian Darry doesn't really care about what Ponyboy does which is not good .
Should Ponyboy from the Outsiders go to a foster care? Ponyboy should go to foster care! He would not be jumped or be in rumbles all the time. He will also have a father and mother to take care of him and love him. Ponyboy's brothers are always gone going partying or working all the time.
