This September I will be going off to high school. I will be attending Monsignor Farrell High School in Staten Island. I can’t wait to go to high school and take a big step toward adulthood. I expect a lot of things will happen in high school and I am looking forward to it. I have three main goals going that I want to accomplish while attending Farrell. My first goal is to make new friends and meet new people. Although a bunch of my friends will be going to high school with me, I want to have more friends who always have your back. My second goal is to have good grades. I want to be at the top of my class. I also want to learn more about Social Studies, Math, Science, and ELA. My third and most important goal is to just have fun. I want to enjoy every minute of high school. My last goal can not be completed without doing my first two goals. Hopefully I will be able to achieve all three of my goals while in high school. …show more content…
I expect it to be really challenging and hard. From what I have heard you get a lot of homework and essays. Since my teachers in middle school are really good I don’t think I will have a problem in high school. I also expect high school to be a lot of fun. It will be fun because I get to have classes with my friends and I get to do fun activities like gym and different clubs. I am also looking forward to some things. I am looking forward to meeting new friends and teachers. I am also looking forward to going to sports games to watch sports like football and basketball. That is what I expect high school to be like and what I am looking forward to the

Going to College I think college will be stricter than high school. Stressful, more responsibility, the lifestyle is different. Theme I think money is big dill because if you do something to get in trouble and take you out four a whole year.
I haven’t even finished the grade I’m in and I’m worried about not getting my school work in for high school. How ironic. My adventure side is excited to have more freedom, more options, more classes, longer lunch, more people to friend, new teachers, and bigger school! I feel like I have so many questions I want to ask.
Hello everyone! I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the semester and a lovely winter break. Just a little more about me, I went to Catalina Magnet High School and one of my favorite memories from that time was taking the bus home. Sure waiting was a pain, especially in the hot sun, but riding the bus was so relaxing to me because it allowed me to clear my mind and just listen to my music. Another tidbit from my life, I originally came to Pima to be a veterinary technician but quickly changed my mind shortly after completing my prerequisite courses.
I actually was wrong, school was fun and we don’t get much homework and you meet a lot of new friends. High school has changed me a lot in different ways. It has changed me to be meeting more people and to be talkative to others and not just be shy. I have matured a little once I came to high school. My academics has changed because in 8th grade I was getting bad grades and failing a few classes.
Everyone was so kind and willing to talk to you, the upperclassmen, my freshman year were the best, the juniors and seniors were really kind and made me feel welcome at this school. Usually in the movies or TV shows upperclassmen hate the freshman and are so rude, but it was actually the opposite they were the most welcoming. Now, I will be the upperclassman being kind and welcoming to my little brothers Freshman Class of 2021. Turning sixteen is like starting a second book in the series, you know all the characters yet there are more events, ups and downs coming in the new chapters of the book. My life is exactly like that I am starting new chapters filled with new experiences happy and sad, which is what life is all
I think coming to high school it was really different and scary. Coming to high school was a big change. Its way different from middle school, you have to take to your grades and work serious or else you won’t pass. If you don’t try and fail then that’s misleading you from graduating. You have to try your best and work hard if you want to make it out of high school in 4 years or earlier.
Going to a ‘good high school’ is really an important goal to set up a successful life. The people and education can help form what kind of person you will be as an adult, how you change your world for the better, whether on personal or global level. But what a good school is can mean many different things depending on what goals are set ahead for the high school years and beyond. I want to be accepted into a private high school, be involved and happy with the community, be pushed to achieve to my limits academically, and enjoy my time learning and experiencing the communities and people around me. My individual talents, interests, and ideas are parts of myself that I want to nurture and share with others.
High School High school has been pretty good to me this far. I really have not had a problem with any of my teachers, and I’ve made a lot of new friends. A big reason on why I have liked it so much is because freshman year went by like a flash. All I can really remember is moments of me showing how immature I was at that point. A big memory was me not being able to shut my mouth in my english class.
The one goal that I set for myself professionally is to be able to apply the theories in my own classroom that I learned throughout my education courses. I think there are a few that are more important than others. Developing your cognitive skills at such a young will be the foundation on which these students will grow upon each year. I believe now that teachers are so stressed and overwhelmed with the common core testing that is given each year that they are not able to take enough time to evaluate their students on a personal level anymore. I remember when in my early school years I had such a great relationship with my teachers.
In high school, I will be a lot more busy with homework
Also, each new class will be a challenge, but my advice is to learn from every class and use those new skills to apply it to your knowledge to prepare for college and future jobs. Some advice that I want myself to use for next year is to not stress about the future, stay calm and be prepared for whatever life prepares to hit you with because in the end all your hard work will pay off and you'll realize the success you've achieved. What I am anticipating for next year are new challenges. I am ready to see what new obstacles I need to overcome and what new lessons about school or life that I will learn from teachers and classmates. What I am most apprehensive about is leaving high school and the people I am now comfortable around and use to seeing everyday.
THE TIME HAS COME I AM OFFICIALLY A SENIOR YEAR!!! I 've been waiting for this moment all my life ever since I got to middle school. This year has been the most stressful one yet.
I have always been excited for my 8th grade graduation, and I bet that it might be pretty fun. The best part about (some of) these graduations is that you get out earlier than the rest of your school, so you get more Summer... actually I kinda feel bad, about those still at school. My reason why I find 8th grade graduations
When I graduate high school, I plan on having future goals that I plan on achieving. My first goal is to go to college and get a degree. I plan on attending Purdue NorthWest majoring in engineering and minoring in business. This is my number one future goal that I need to accomplish because to be able to have a nice life, I need to go to college to support my future family. My next future goal would be get a starting job to be able to support my future family.
