Personal Statement: Monsignor Farrell High School

This September I will be going off to high school. I will be attending Monsignor Farrell High School in Staten Island. I can’t wait to go to high school and take a big step toward adulthood. I expect a lot of things will happen in high school and I am looking forward to it. I have three main goals going that I want to accomplish while attending Farrell. My first goal is to make new friends and meet new people. Although a bunch of my friends will be going to high school with me, I want to have more friends who always have your back. My second goal is to have good grades. I want to be at the top of my class. I also want to learn more about Social Studies, Math, Science, and ELA. My third and most important goal is to just have fun. I want to enjoy every minute of high school. My last goal can not be completed without doing my first two goals. I expect it to be really challenging and hard. From what I have heard you get a lot of homework and essays. Since my teachers in middle school are really good I don’t think I will have a problem in high school. I also expect high school to be a lot of fun. It will be fun because I get to have classes with my friends and I get to do fun activities like gym and different clubs. I am also looking forward to some things. I am looking forward to meeting new friends and teachers. I am also looking forward to going to sports games to watch sports like football and basketball.
