Loyalty is a friend
“Look out for the people who look out for you. Loyalty is everything” (Picture quotes). Loyalty is necessary for a friendship and is what people should look for in a friend. One loyal friend is worth more than a thousand disloyal ones. They will stand by your side and never leave and always have your back. The key part of a friendship is Loyalty as shown in Romeo and Juliet, Mockingjay, and the friendship of Dwayne Wade and Lebron James.

She needed to go through district 12 on her own even though it was hard for her. Gale knew it was going to upset her and he wanted to help and be there as a friend which shows his loyalty towards her. Also, “Johanna grins, and I feel a slight but significant shift in our relationship. I don't know that we're actually friends, but possibly the word allies would be accurate. That's good. I'm going to need an ally.” (17). During the time of war, Johanna seemed more of an ally than a friend to Katniss. Although, this may have been just what she needed because she did not feel alone with Johana by her side because she knew she had her back. Johanna was loyal to Katniss and it is shown by their allyship during the hard times of the war. The word selfishness is defined as a person’s excessive or exclusive concern with oneself. A person’s selfishness can destroy relationships and even lives, and this is precisely what occurs in William Shakespeare’s tragic play Romeo and Juliet because of the thoughts and actions of Friar Lawrence. It is a tragic love story where the two main characters, Romeo and Juliet, are supposed to be sworn enemies but fall in love. Due to their families' ongoing conflict, they cannot be together, so they kill themselves because they cannot cope with being separated from one another. Out of all the characters in this play, Friar Lawrence is most to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths because of his tragic flaw of poor decision making; furthermore, his behavior illustrates that people should mind their own business.

Theme Essay---Romeo and Juliet! Pride drowns out any other more positive feelings such as love and forgiveness and this is what caused the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. Pride keeps the two families fighting because neither wants to admit their wrong. Even the family servants are proud to fight.
This is an example of the perils of excessive loyalty. In the play Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare warns about the dangers of extreme loyalty through the behavior of Romeo and Juliet. Juliet is one of the most faithful characters in the play, and also the most tragic, which is Shakespeare’s way of showing the dangers of acute loyalty. “My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite.” (2.2.140-142) Throughout the tale of Romeo and Juliet, loyalty is shown in different ways. A loyal friend is a person that will always have your back when it comes defending you and making sure you are alright. Loyalty in a friend is very important because without loyalty in a friendship, one friend can go and talk behind your back to another friend when you think your friend is loyal but they are not and are talking behind your back. Loyalty is also a trait that needs to be gained and cannot just be given to a person; it requires time for someone to be loyal to another person. I have personally had few friends that I would consider loyal friends that I would trust to tell anything and I know they will stay by myself and got my back rather than 20 friends that I don’t even know if they will still be my friend in year from
As Juliet’s “Dead” body is discovered, Lord Capulet exclaims how Juliet has married death and how death is his son-in-law rather than Paris. Since the Lord has no other children, death will take everything in the end. The statement “Death is my son-in-law. Death is my heir” (4.5.43), is and example of dramatic irony, as Lord Capulet doesn't know that he has a son-in-law and heir who is alive, Romeo. It is also foreshadowing because his soon-to-be son-in-law, Paris, will die.
