But with the work ethics I have that I’ve learned throughout high school, and will continue to learn in college will help me accomplish these much easier. Other goals that I will have is to help my family with their goals. Helping family and friends is a big part in this world today. By helping my family and friends they will help me
Obtaining a postsecondary education is important to me because I have a passion for helping people and learning. As a first-generation postsecondary student, I understand the values of education. I grew up with my parents always telling me that I am lucky because I will have a chance to get an education, most people live struggling to make ends meet because they didn 't have a chance, just like my parents. As someone who comes from having very little, I always prided myself on the fact that I can, at least, have an education. Also, from the volunteered work I have done every chance I get I believe a postsecondary education will give me a chance to give back.
I believe that with a college degree, it will be my ticket to providing a better life not only for me, but for my family. I owe my parents everything because they are the ones who gave me this opportunity. It is a chance to better myself and become someone in life. I would be the first in my family to go to college, and that itself is rewarding. A job in the business industry that I love is one goal after college.
I am deeply honored to be given the opportunity to join the National Honor Society and be among some of the most exceptional students in our school. Being given this opportunity shows my family and myself that I’ve truly worked as hard as I can to succeed. Growing up around adults with a good work ethic has taught me to see the reality in life. Working hard will help create a better future. I not only work hard in my classes but I also participate in sports which gives me the experience of being a leader.
I would also love to become more involved in community service, which is something that NHS would allow me to do. NHS would provide me more activities that I could do to serve my community and make it a better place while also being surrounded with people that have to same goals. I could contribute to NHS because I am very creative.
The chance to be evaluated for the Sherwood Middle School National Junior Honor Society is an honor, and I 'm excited to try and take this opportunity, so thank you. I wanted to start out by saying, that if I’m accepted, I have plans of doing community service with some of my friends, and even if I’m not accepted those plans will not be changing. Throughout my life, I 've always tried for the best, whether it be my grades or my attitude. Reflecting a good mood to those around me is half of the battle after all. When I was younger, doing Girl Scouts was something I took seriously, even if it seemed silly to me at the time.
I would also provide personal experiences of certain voluntary services that I have completed, if needed. Giving my time and dedication towards this group will also contribute to the growth and success of this program. I am willing to take
With a passion for involvement in my community, I work hard to do my part and inspire others to do theirs. Furthermore, I possess adaptability and innovativeness, coming up with strong ideas that can propel my work forward. When working in a team, I can interact and communicate well. Through my extracurriculars, I have become adept in collaborating with others to accomplish goals, overcome obstacles, and represent the interests of my community. With courage and motivation, I will help lead the effort to integrate Westmont students into
I want to be able to make a change in this world; even if it means starting off with something small. As I was growing up I would always help anyone out in need. Many times I volunteered with a group of people to do volunteer town clean up. This was a very great experience for me because it required me to work as a team to accomplish something. I knew I was not receiving anything in return, but I did it anyway because it made me feel great for helping to make a place more homelike for everyone.
National Honor Society can help me become a professional in the future. This organization creates enthusiasm for scholarships, develops character in students, and promotes leadership. NHS has many activities with students that can develop my leadership skills and help me achieve my goals as a professional in the future. There are different ways to contribute to the success and growth of the NHS. I would get actively involved in the activities sponsored by the NHS and will support my peers.
The boys and girls club has many great sports activities to join in to help get kids out of the street and become more active in their community. They are there for you when you need them the most and you make so many new positive friends through the activities they have. Camp voyageur was my favorite camp they made you feel wanted and you never felt left out the camp leaders helped you become a leader and made you feel more independent. Boys and girls club have shown me a lot in life and I want to further my education so that someday I can give back to them. With all of my reasons why I want to further my education the most important reason is so I can give back to my family and community one day.
If I get into NHS, it will give me a lot of opportunities to be a leader. Another reason why is I will get the opportunity to serve my local community; doing more service work will help me to be better as a person. Being in NHS will help build who I am as student. I always want to improve and learn from my flaws. Being in the National Honor Society will not only help me academically but also as a better person to the
