Researchers are concluding that there is not one specific event, but instead multiple events that lead to the defeat of Hilary Clinton during the two thousand and sixteen presidential election. When investigating events that lead to the defeat of Hilary Clinton, one factor that needs to be taken into account is the amount of power or authority that they can exert over American citizens (Class notes). There are many intrinsic factors that gave Trump and Clinton authority and made others comply with their ideology. Ultimately, Trump defeated Clinton, because he was able to influence American citizens through preaching his thoughts. Another solution is that some political scientists believe that international politics could have affected the election results. Under these circumstances, other countries obtain control over other countries through the formation of the United Nations, since political globalization “refers to an increasing trend toward multilateralism” (Moghadam) and regulates the welfare and security of a specific countries citizens. Another organization that provides cooperation between nations is the World Trade Organization. A particular World Trade Agreement that aids in trade and world relations is the North American Trade Organization. This trade agreement is composed of North America, Canada, and Mexico.
