There were many factors and issues that led to the end of reconstruction. The first reason why reconstruction came to an end was the fact that white republicans had so much control in the south. This was a cause that ended reconstruction because some republicans did not like the idea of reconstruction. Another factor that led to the end of reconstruction was that the black people had very good political power. During reconstruction, black people did not have many political right and had very little power, so this was very significant. During reconstruction, only black men were able to vote.
