To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee is a novel revolving around the narrator, a girl named Scout Finch, her father, Atticus, who is defending Tom Robinson, an African-American, accused of molesting and raping a white woman. Since Scout is young when this novel takes place, she doesn’t have much experience with dealing with real-world problems. Scout is what many would call a naive narrator because she is inexperienced and innocent so she reveals the faults and flaws of the world around her. Scout is a prime example of a naive narrator.
