Witch craft is the practice of magic it was said that if you practiced witch craft you had made deal with the devil in return he gave you supernatural powers. Most things that went wrong in the Elizabethan times was blamed on the witches, for example if your crops did not grow or your cow took ill. It was beloved that witches would be accompanied by a demon advisor i.e. A toad or cat.
Single, old and/or poor women were most likely to be accused. It was legal to kill suspected witches whether it be by fire or through there trials.
Macbeth by Shakespeare was wrote to impress king James who was particularly interested and superstitious about witches. Mythical beings also appear in "A midsummer nights dream"
A white witch used/ experimented with harmless purposes. A black witch used/ experimented with commit hardships and injury’s. The last one is contact with the devil this is known for the most extreme form of witchcraft(pooja). People believed witchcraft to be the gift of Satan or the give you soul to the devil.

The Salem Witch Trials The belief of witchcraft can be traced back centuries to as early as the 1300’s. The Salem Witch Trials occurred during 1690’s in which many members of Puritan communities were accused and convicted of witchcraft. These “witch trials” were most famously noted in the town of Salem, Massachusetts. Many believe this town to be the starting point for the mass hysteria which spread to many other areas of New England.

During the Salem Witch Trials a lot of people were accused of using witchcraft. As a result many people died for other people’s lies, rumors, and selfishness. There is one person that really caused and is most to blame for all the chaos, her name is Abigail. Abigail is to blame for all that has happened in the Witch Trials, the reason for that is because of all the accusing and lying she has done. In addition, it all leads up to her for instance, she used a doll to accuse people of witchcraft.

Telling fortunes, showing peoples faces in glasses, enchantments, and healing the sick are some of the things people who practiced witchcraft claimed to be able to do. New Englanders often turned to people who could do these things for favors and referred to them as "cunning folk" (pg.107). The New Englanders didn't see any harm in using their occult powers for there own good, when in fact these people were in contact with the devil. They did not see it that way but they were indeed risking being banished to hell.

The notion of witches have been a taboo subject that most people would try to avoid but William Shakespeare did not make their reputation any better by depicting them as malicious and demonic in his famous play ‘ Macbeth’ which a lot of people tried making movies of . Despite bearing some similarities between the three videos in which the witches were in , the differences are profound . To start with , there are quite some similarities between the witches in the three movies . In George Wright’s , Rupert Goold’s , and Kurzel’s movies , all of the witches seemed to say the same lines , despite them being from different timelines .
In our world, manipulation takes place in everyday life as a natural impulse for both men and women. In Macbeth, manipulation is centralized around the mask of ambition displaying dominance over humanity. Certainly the witch’s, Lady Macbeth, and our fallen hero Macbeth become puppets of Manipulation it self. Consequently the witch’s power to influence decision-making causes the initial deterioration of Macbeth, along with Lady Macbeth’s influential desire for the throne, and thus Macbeth use of manipulation to create a new embodiment of a mask suffused in ambition for his own cruel deeds.
In the play Macbeth by Shakespere the main character Macbeth goes through many changes and ends up being an almost completely different person by the end. The two main Influences that attribute to corrupting him are Lady Macbeth and the witches. Lady Macbeth manipulates him using negative reinforcement, while the witches simply plant a thought and watch it overtake him.
Lady Macbeth and Macbeth: The Manipulation of the Soft-hearted Disruption and criminality could be seen within the very first lines of the famous play by Shakespeare and towards the end as well. In this old Shakespearean play, Macbeth is a fierce warrior who receives the tittle known as the Thane of Cawdor by emerging victoriously from the battle of the Kingdom of Scotland. After this great battle, Macbeth encounters three unusual ladies who appear to be witches known as the Weird Sisters. The Weird Sisters claim in a prophecy that Macbeth will rule as the future King of Scotland. But, Macbeth begins to feel uneasy when he learns that King Duncan will be passing the throne to his, Malcolm, the Prince of Cumberland.
