TECHNICAL REASONING 29 (Use first) This one rings a bell I am a man of action and not of words. I must figure things out my way first before I start a project. I enjoy building things.
Project One For this assignment, I had to choose a scholarly or academic text from my own discipline and write an essay in which I analyze how well such text meets the needs of the rhetorical situation. I have picked a text written by Janet Brennan Croft, which is about characters and how they both evade and embrace faith. The scholarly article is called, Turin and Aragorn: Evading, and embracing fate, and I believe it does a great job at meeting the needs of the rhetorical situation. The audience of this Article is that of students and that of those who wish to understand Tolkien’s characters in more depth. This can be seen because Janet does not focus on the whole story revolving both characters, only their background.
This essay is going to be about the questions, ‘Why is it important to know the traditions and beliefs of those who came behind us?’ and, ‘What could happen if we ignore the past?’ I will be answering these questions in my own thoughts of why these questions are important and a few references from other essays. In the story Freedom Walkers and JoAnn Robinson, the story answers the questions in quotes I pulled from the story. In the question Why is it important to know the traditions and beliefs of those who came before us, it is asking us why is it a good idea to know our beliefs and traditions from people in the past, and like in the story, when the people with a darker tone than the people with a lighter tone were segregated, it helped

The areas I feel like I need the most assistance in are analyzing literature and being able to give a detailed description of the works. I struggle with being too vague and not giving an in depth analysis of the pieces. Another aspect I find difficult is getting to the word count on my writing
So initially I felt like if I volunteered their, maybe I could learn what ways I can better assist my uncle in what he is going through. Other thoughts were; would I have to dress a certain way? How could I make a great impression? How can I make them remember me? What exactly would I have to do?
Upon writing the essay, I decided the do it on the second prompt. I felt that my strengths lied on the my previous knowledge from past classes about learning about various debts and the Great Depression, which I formulated my future effects in the essay. I however, had a hard time deciding whether student debt alone may be significant enough to cause an entire turmoil of the economy, but I later thought that It possibly could in a more insidious way. The causes in the essay provided me the most difficulty. I have trouble concluding rational causes that could lead to the effects.

An occasional red herring, which is a clue that is purposely misleading, can add interest, but the meaning behind each one should be satisfactorily explained within the context of what happens in the story. Here are some ways you can drop hints about what’s to come: 1. Start the
