We realize too late ("Quotes About Missing.") .”September 11th 2001 four U.S airlines were hijacked and crashed into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon by the terrorist group al-Qaeda. In my opinion I think that this is of the worst days in history. September 11th 2002 at 8:45 on a Tuesday. The plane Airlines Boeing 767 crashed into the World Trade Center (North Tower) right directly in the middle of the building. Its left hundreds of people dead. The crash also left a couple hundred people trapped on the floors above. Then about another couple of minutes something else

At 9:03 United Airlines Flight 175 hits the South Tower of the World Trade Center. At 9:37 American Airline Flight 77 strikes the side of the Pentagon. At 9:59 The South Tower of the World Trade Center collapses in about 10 sec. At 10:03 United Airlines Flight 92 crashed in near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. This is this exact record of the events in 9/11. ("September 11th Fast Facts - CNN.com.") There is really not a clear reason to why 9/11. Lots of people have idea’s. There is an idea that Bush did 9/11. Also people think that al-Qaeda got mad at the United and planned to attack. Which they did plan the attack. No one knows why they specific reason why they did 9/11. The last reason that I’ve i heard is that people compared the names and said Obama and Osama are alike. Which means they planned to attack together. Which doesn 't make much sense. ("You Really Should Know What Happened on 9/11.) In conclusion 9/11 is one of the saddest moments in history. It has devastated this country. We bless all the people who lost family members. No one knows why its is still a big mystery to this
The huge attack of Iraq on the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001 left an everlasting impact on the US. On this day many fatalities occurred and much sadness fell upon the world. The first plane of terrorist flew into the North Tower, with a couple of minutes between the second plane flew into the South Tower. The effects of this disaster on the United States were many, including the immediate aftermath/roughage, the airlines, the economy, and the ongoing wars.
The events that occurred on September, 11, 2001 were among the most catastrophic events in American history. The events of the day were summarized as 19 militants associated with the terror group al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out targeted attacks in the United States. Out of the four planes, two of them were flown into the World Trade Center in New York, a third one into the Pentagon in Washington and the fourth one crashing off course into a field. The attacks resulted in the deaths of over 3000 people and the beginning of a soon to come American counter terrorism policy and the subsequent invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. The 9/11 tragedy was a moment where people had their guard up at all times. This was a time where life had strike to reality of time warfare with every person and country. Couldn’t trust no one that came to the U.S. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave, were brave because the generations before us had to face what had happened and to what is going to happen. This had left the buildings torn instantly killing hundreds of many people, getting them stuck in the higher floors. This attack was the worst in America ever since the Pearl Harbor All over our nation saw a major impact of devastation in the face of the September 9, 2001attacks.
Nearly the whole country watched in horror on the morning of September 11, 2001. As the planes crashed and the towers burned, many thought it simply wasn’t true. They believed that it was impossible that someone could hate America that much. It was true, and it left lasting effects on Americans everywhere. Two years later we entered Iraq. Many soldiers that were deployed over seas returned home with disabilities, or didn 't return home at all. 9/11 was a scary and devastating time for many families. Do you know the difference between these two tragic attacks? These two events have both differences and similarities. A huge similarity they have is that both of these attack had a huge impact on the united states.
Historical Context On September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked the Unites States. They hijacked airplanes in mid-flight. The terrorists flew two of the planes into two skyscrapers at the World Trade Center in New York City. During the attacks, there were 2,996 people killed and more than 6,000 others wounded.

One moment it was a normal day and the next moment will forever be ingrained within the minds of an entire nation. The first plane hit at 8:46 a.m. and the second at 9:03 a.m., leaving 2,819 people dead. September 11, 2001 will always be remembered as a day of great destruction, a day of great loss. September 11, 2001 was the day two planes flew into the World Trade Center, forever changing the way of life for all of America. After this horrible act of terrorism the president of the United States gave a speech addressing the nation.
All of these events demonstrated that al-Qaeda could carry out terrifying attacks thousands of miles away from its base in Afghanistan. Al- qaeda’s leaders did not care about their gruesome actions. In their minds, God was on their side so they could do no wrong. Many people to this day still question our government about the 9/11 attacks and why someone did not take action before it got to this point.

Two of the planes (American airline flight 11 and united airlines flight 175) Crashed into the north and south towers of world trade center in New York City. One hour and 42 minutes after the crash of the planes both 110 stories towers collapsed resulting fire and the collapsing and damage to the other towers. Including the seven world trade center tower which has 47 stories.
It showed that even the most powerful country in the world was subject to attack. This attack exposed the vulnerability of the United States as a nation. The 9/11 attacks changed the country forever; some lost family members, friends, and those who survived are forever hunted by the events of September 11, 2001. The entire country was in pandemonium including my family.
