In the Percy Jackson series, the characters Percy, Nico di Angelo, and Hazel experience pressures that sometimes crumble their emotions and make them lose trust in themselves. These pressures change the book because they can make characters lose trust in themselves and lose battles. In conclusion, character views shape the series because of how they can change characters on the inside and outside. Percy Jackson is always pressured by his friends to be a hero and sometimes he struggles with it.
In young adult literature, there are characters who leave a perennial impression on the reader. Many of these are considered dynamic characters because of changes they endure throughout the plot. In S.E. Hinton’s novel The Outsiders, Johnny Cade is a character that goes through a major change in personality. Jake has had a complete change when he said “our land”, it showed that Jake thought of himself as being part of "The People.” He had created a bond with the Na’vi land and from the land was so important to the Omaticaya people too, the land was a medium for Jake to connect with the Na’vi. Jake has exchange from the begin of the film as he did not realize how important the land was to the Omaticaya people, but now he does. When Jake said “brothers” and “sisters”, he was creating a link with the Na’vi and thought of them as his family.
