Despite the differences between John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, the author does a good job demonstrating how the two candidates will be admired in the history of America. Jefferson was reelected, again over Adams and others, in 1804. The two men did not talk again ever since. They do become friends when Adams made the move to write a sorry letter to Thomas, on January 1st 1812, wishing him many more years to come. Adams' last words before he died was, "Jefferson still lives!"

Though Andrew Jackson and John C. Calhoun couldn't be more different actually disliking each other for many reasons one of which an argument between friends, both played large parts in the history of The United States of America. John C. Calhoun who though had own slaves and believed in the Confederacy like Thomas Jefferson though more strongly spearheaded for separation between the north and south Calhoun had a very different view as shown in the fact that he was a democratic-republican and ended up heading the political after his namesake the Jacksonian Democracy. On the other hand, Andrew Jackson who I'd say was more attuned to Thomas Jefferson's ideology because unlike Calhoun, Jackson and Jefferson weren't fighting to get more power in
Abigail Adams and Shakespeare were part of two different time periods, they both have different education levels, and have different things they are writing about. This translated to their pieces of literature very different in terms of context and writing style. Abigail, unlike Shakespeare, is writing to her son about her concerns. She emphasizes “that wisdom and penetration are fruits of experience, not the Lessons of retirement and leisure”. She believes that scholarship is significant and talks about it, whereas shakespeare doesn’t.
Abigail Adams played a very important role in the American Revolution; even if she didn’t fight in the war. Abigail fought for women’s rights and slavery instead. Her perseverance pulled her through rough times, as well as her stubbornness. Abigail Adams was an independent woman and a fantastic role model. Abigail Adams was born on November 11th, 1744, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, and grew up with no formal education.
Abigail Adams was extremely influential to the nation’s beginnings due to her drive to push certain decisions and debates through the status of her husband. She found the issues of women’s rights and slavery while also finding local politics to be important. As the wife of a president, Abigail Adams was able to use her status in a way to push and bring to life her political agenda. Abigail Adams was able to provide her husband with information and insights of the political situation in Boston during his decade long trip through numerous letters that had been exchanged for so long. Her letters regarding the political situation “included commentary on the American struggle for independence and the political structure of the new republic.”
The newly established land of America was attempting to break away from the mother country, England, to become the independent land that we know as the United States. The letter by Abigail Adam was written to her beloved son whom was traveling abroad with his father. Throughout the letter, Adams uses inspiring diction, allusions to historical figures, and well timed metaphors to encourage her son to be resilient and not shy away from any challenges that may face him. In the letter, Adams compares her son to other great leaders using allusions and metaphors.
Abigail Adams is the wife of John Adams who was a United States diplomat and the second president. On January 12, 1780 Abigail Adams wrote a letter to her son, John Quincy Adams. Abigail Adams exemplifies pathos and introduces connections to tell him she has high expectations as he embarks on his voyage. Abigail Adams amplifies pathos to relate to her son’s emotions. “Your knowledge of the language must give you greater advantage now than you could possibly have reaped whilst ignorant of it; and as you increase in years, you will find your understanding opening and daily improving.”
She was against slavery and believed in the equal rights of all people, including black people and women. She vindicated of married women's property rights, particularly in the field of education. Abigail had strong opinions on many political issues and she often expressed her thoughts with her husband, giving him the woman's point of view on issues. As letters reflected, they discussed many important problems and often John Adams followed her advice what made that some critics referred to her as ‘Mrs. President’ because her role as unofficial counsellor influenced so much over John what weakened John Adams politically.
Education was a big factor that Abigail urged women to have more of a passion for. An educated woman is a strong woman. She promotes that women are just as capable as men, and intellectual thinkers who want their voices to be heard. Since women had little rights for themselves, some women were against slavery, especially Abigail Adam’s, they saw how little to no rights slaves were given and saw a comparison of the situations and wanted to be that voice for them and those that joined her. John Adams had complete trust in her to be able to handle all that was going on in the household while he was gone.
When comparing Sam Adams, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams, we can see that there are some similarities and differences between the men. Perhaps the most notable relation this group has, is that they were all formal presidents and had some type of power or ownership. The qualities of all four men are often seen as opposed to each other. One similarity for example, with George Washington and Thomas Jefferson was that they were prosperous Virginian plantation owners and held slaves. Jefferson and Adams were both well educated people and knew about the law.
The famous saying that reach to me is " No two people are alike " because it remains me of my two siblings . When you see them you 'll think they 're twin but they only have one year apart . They are so different from personality and the way they act towards each other . Abigail is the youngest and Jean Daniel is the oldest . Abigail is more outgoing , goofy and talkative and John Daniel is very quiet , smart and stubborn .
