What does it actually mean to be a human or an android in a physical and emotion sense? Rick Deckard becomes unhappy with a his wife and often has a very nihilistic attitude. He doesn’t really care about a lot of things in his life. Rick starts to contemplate empathy when his wife, Iran, tells him what she thinks of his line of work., “You’re worse, his wife said, he eyes still shut. You’re a murderer hired by the cops. I’ve never killed a human being in my life” (Dick 1). Iran thinks that Rick does not have empathy

“Most dystopian, classic and contemporary, paints a future world that puts a twist on present society - a future world that could plausibly happen” -Lauren DeStefano. Finally, in The Veldt the advancements in technology has led to a loss in people having personal relationships.
When Rick and Phil are at the museum after retiring Luba Luft, Rick comes to terms with what he is really dealing with. “In that elevator at the museum, he said to himself, I rode down with two creatures, one human, the other android…and my feelings were the reverse of those intended. Of those I’m accustomed to feel — am required to feel” (143). This realization is just the opposite of what was previously discussed for Phil’s behavior, further addressing the point that Resch is Rick’s antithesis. It was concluded in Do Androids Dream that Phil didn’t show empathy towards androids because he didn’t want to go against the norm, but this developed into a crueler more bloodthirsty hate against androids.

They were supposed to all act and think as one.

The topic of this assignment is to discuss and analyse what factors affect human behavior and in doing so how human behavior is shaped. But before discussing that, it is important to understand what human behavior is. To define it in a few sentences or words would not be sufficient as human behavior consists of many factors and therefore contributes majorly to who we are as a person. But to put it simply, it is defined as all actions and emotions that an individual portrays in response to the different kinds of stimuli they receive no matter whether these responses are conscious or subconscious and voluntary or involuntary (Merriam-webster.com, 2015).
