The whole Alabama defense was swarming to the ball. Every single person in the stadium thought he got tackled. Mysteriously Tyrann Mathieu appeared out of the red Alabama jerseys and went running down the sideline with zero time on the clock.

We have all heard of the saying “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.” Patrick Hannon was ordered to be executed on November 8th by a lethal injection after Governor Scott signed his death warrant for a murder scene in 1991. On Patrick’s day of execution, I attended his vigil at the Florida State Prison in Starke with the Gainesville Citizens for Alternatives to the Death Penalty. At the Vigil, I met two of Patrick’s Pen Pals and heard great things about him. From that moment, I realized that our past does not define who we are. A person who steals is not just a thief, he or she deserves a second chance – everyone makes mistakes. Seth, another individual in attendance at the vigil was incarcerated 18 years for a crime he did not commit. Whether Patrick was innocent or not, he is a human being and deserves a right to life. St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta committed her life to proclaiming that human life is sacred and dignity should not be taken from anyone.
A good friend to have is Luis Lares. He is in 9th grade. He is smart, funny, cool, and many more. He is mid size and is about the same height as me. Luis is not in any sporting events but he is still athletic. Some classes I have with Luis is math, Strategies, and 20th Century. In math class we talk about what every comes to our minds. Luis is that kind of person to go to if you need some one to talk to and just ask how your day is going. Sometimes I either see his driving his car to school or his sister driving him to school. He told me a story about whn he was driving, he was driving and was at the football practice fields and he was getting followed by two police so he slowed down to 15. He was scared that he was going to get pulled over. But when he got to the school the police went the other way.
Surrounded by freezing salt water that is stingy their entire bodies, the potential Navy SEALs are focused on one thing, getting to shore. They were dropped seven miles off the west coast of the United States in the Pacific Ocean in full gear. That is a daunting task for anyone, but they were not focused on the strenuous task, they were concentrating on moving forward with the other trainees. This is only a miniscule portion of what they had to go through. The strongness of their bodies and most importantly their minds are very impressive. Kevin Holland was one of those courageous people going through this training, and here are some details about his journey.
