One of the first major stumbling blocks of anyone who is thinking of learning meditation is that they can't do it. It's too difficult and they will never be good enough.

Well, based on my experience - and I am just a regular person like you, with an average life, a few hobbies, a family and a job, I am here to tell you that yes, you can learn to meditate.

These are some of the most common reasons that people give when they are afraid to embark on learning meditation. And that's ok. It is human nature to resist change and learning meditation is a change in our life, so why should this be any different from anything else that might require a change?
You can learn to meditate
We all can learn to meditate. There are many different meditation techniques, some easier than others, and there are different levels of meditators, ranging from the girl next door who simply wants to relax after a hard day's work to the Buddhist monk up on the top of the mountain waiting for enlightenment.
Just because the girl is not at the level of the Buddhist monk, don't underestimate the benefits of meditation that she is receiving for her efforts.

I never thought it would be something I'm really into and I think it's good for you just in general I would have trouble waking up in the morning so I would sun salutations to become more attentive then at night I would focus on my deep meditation along with my heart centering to bring my energy back down. Overall I think yoga has changed my perspective on how to look at situations and how to handle them, I believe it can do anyone good in their life, it can build a positive bond with your conscience and other people.
