Continuous Production
In this regard, the production activities last 24 hours or on the basis of three shifts a day. A steel plant, for example, belong to this type. Other examples include bottlers, soft drinks industry, chemical fertilizer plants, power plants, etc. Mass production and Flow production belong to continuous type only. They are explained below:
i. Mass production: In this kind of type, produce a lot of the same project, however, devices don't have to be designed to only produce this type of project. The two plant and equipment has enough flexibility to handle and other products the same production process. For example, you can use a highly mechanized stamping workshop production of different types of parts or steel metal products, without the need for major changes. ii. Flow production: This type of plant, its equipment and layout of the main design and production of specific types of products. Flexibility is limited to a few changes in the layout or design model. Some notable examples are cars, engines, household machinery, chemical plants, and so on.
