It’s only natural to be afraid of the unknown. However, The Book Thief adds irony to this fact, for humans and Death will haunt each other mutually until the end of time. People have harnessed Death time and time again and made him our own, so to think he cannot be partially controlled is a lie. Indeed, Death is unstoppable in natural scenarios, but he most definitely can be in human conflict. In a perfect world, crime and war would be nonexistent.
It is human nature for people to want to run away from their problems instead of facing them. In the novel A Lesson Before Dying by Ernest Gaines, Grant Wiggins states his desire to run away from Bayonne and start a new life for himself on multiple occasions. Death, one of the greatest fears of any living creature. Nothing is more frightening than not knowing what will happen, how it will happen, or where the deceased go. All greet death with fear, some may not show it but it is the way humans are. The next hardest thing could quite possibly be dealing with the death of a someone close to you. Some move on and continue their lives without them, Others have a time of mourning and sorrow but eventually move on, and some never move on.
Fear is perhaps the strongest force within humans- something that is an undeniable influence on our decision making process, whether those decisions may be major or minor. Fear comes into play both consciously and subconsciously; both practically and non practically; it is not always 100% apparent but it is the drive behind so much more of our thought process than we actually realize. This is not only human nature but the nature of animals, too. It is a force we cannot escape, whether is comes in reflexes or is something we avidly dwell on, so we’ve instead explored and embraced the wonders of this thing called fear.
The narrator experienced loss when she felt it was her fault her mother and brother died because of gang violence. The narrator's beginning identity was frightened for example the narrator writes she was in tears and terrified before carlos got home. Another example of her being frightened is she heard a familiar sound pow!pow!pow! Like she did when her mother died and she might have been frightened because she writes this time i was ready to take action . A third reason is she could have been frightened the gang was going to kill her next.

But fear has a larger impact on our decisions and actions than we all think. It is powerful in transforming the way people react and act towards certain situations and can be more serious. Humans have always wondered what would happen to society if a disastrous event were to occur that would have the ability to wipe out the human race or put it in danger of extinction. We have created numerous theories of different natural disasters that can fulfill this requirement, including supernatural occurrences. Since these events are very unlikely to happen, we have created a way to portray these disasters as a form of entertainment for us to watch ranging from movies, television, and video games. We seem to enjoy watching actors play out in this disastrous scenario and see how they would be able to survive through it and save humanity. Zombies are one type of genre and supernatural event that people love to watch but also fear at the same time.
The Black Death The two faiths, Christianity and Islamic, approach the black death in similar ways religiously, medically, and in dealing with the Jews. Religiously the faiths saw the plague as a curse. The Muslims thought of the black plague as a blessing from god. (Document 4, 6, 8) the Muslims and the Christians have their own opinions of what they think the Black Death is.

However, because we don’t know what death is, it isn’t strange that we fear it. People like to have control over things. And when we can’t control something, we fear it. An ethicist, a person who specializes in or writes on ethics, can provide valuable discernment with respect to right and wrong motives or actions.
