The Hareskin and the Mandan Throughout ancient history, there have been countless tales of floods. One North American story talks about a man named Kunyan. Kunyan was wise, and he felt that a flood was possibly coming his way. With the possibility, he built a large raft that many could fit onto. Kunyan told other people, but all of them simple laughed.
