Despite what many might think, Henry Ford automobile is well known across hundreds of nations all over the world. Henry Ford automobile has been around for several centuries and has a very important meaning in the lives of many. It would be safe to assume that henry ford automobile is going to be around for a long time and have an enormous impact on the lives of many people. A&E Networks, The History website states: “Though the Model T was fairly expensive at first (the cheapest one initially cost $825, or about $18,000 in today’s dollars), it was built for ordinary people to drive everyday.” (Model T). In 1913 Henry Ford created the first assembly line that affected America greatly. Ford was interested about how things worked and how he can improve them. He started off by making pocket watches then realizing that there wasn’t a high demand. Later on ford started to work with investors to build the first car. He started to produce different cars that were also simple.

He progressed by learning about steam engines and watches how to build them and take them apart he learned by using trial and error those foundations would build his career (Casey). Both inventions led to increased productivity and stimulated American economic development, Henry Ford patented the design and soon began to produce more cars than his competitors. Ford knew that in order to keep his employees satisfied he would have to raise their pay, so he did. From a measly two dollars to five he immediately noticed an increase work ethic , including the price reduction his workers could finally afford the new Model T and now had enough time to use it. This led to an increase in employees and wages, the automobile showed a renewed cultural outlook in America that would soon be spread to all neighboring countries. The invention of the airplane changed the United States forever, it changed the way that Americans would travel making it easy and affordable not to mention that it would help significantly improve the American economy through shipping and distribution.

Henry Ford's Model T was a very powerful and unique innovation in the United States during this time period. This invention was really the first car. Its impact on the United States was immense, and it helped so many people that were able to afford this car. What it did was allowed for a much faster source of transportation for the American citizes. Instead of having to take a train everywhere it allowed for people to go short distances like from work and back home.
