During the presidential debate, Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump was insulting a former Miss Universe by using sexist derogatory words to describe her appearance and her heritage. During the debate, the topic of women issues was discussed which resulted in Hillary to argue how Donald Trump is misogynist by stating, “One of the worst things he said in a beauty contest. He loves beauty contests supporting them and hanging around them, and he called this woman Miss Piggy, then he called her Miss Housekeeping because she was Latina. Donald, she has a name. Her name is Alicia Machado. And she has become a U.S. citizen and you can bet she is going to vote this November” (citation). After the debate was over, Hillary Clinton Presidential Campaign team released a video advertisement all over social media including YouTube, which shows Alicia Machado discussing her situation about Donald Trump. The release of the video was perfectly timed as the mention of Machado and her stories were the most discussed part of the American Presidential debate, which even resulted Donald Trump to make a comment about the situation and caused a fiery with many Americans and feminist groups to side with Clinton and Machado. When examining all the advertisement it is clear that many of them are positive, but the one advertisement that should out the most, was the Hillary Clinton advertisement after the presidential debate. The advertisement provided a powerful tone that encourage the Hispanic community to see how Donald Trump is not fit to be present, as they used a well prominent Latina women Alicia Machando, former Miss Universe to discuss the racism and sexist comments she received from Donald Trump.
