I chose this article because it has great information about how the patients feel about new technological procedures and their comfort
Once the trauma patient has arrived at the trauma centre, in-hospital trauma systems, such as trauma teams, are activated and facilitate systematic clinical assessment and ongoing patient care (Liberman et al., 2005; Teixaeira et al., 2007). Quality and effective initial assessment and resuscitation of trauma patients require a multidisciplinary trauma team led by medical and nursing staff (Cole and Crichton, 2006) Trauma triage systems seek to identify and provide rapid treatment for the most severely injured trauma patients, while at the same time identifying less injured patients in need of only basic care (Cook, 2001). However, a trauma teams activation is down to personal

The DNP scholarly project, identifies, evaluates care delivery models and the need for change. In My role as a DNP practice scholar, I will address the critical skills essential for translating the evidence-based care into practice with the aim of improving systems of care within the clinical setting (Vincent, Johnson, Velasquez, & Rigney, 2010). Besides, the practice competencies and research I will use the nursing skills to measure the outcomes of the affected population as well as communities. I will apply both clinical investigation and theory with affected individuals and families and implement nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes in nursing homes. I will achieve this by focusing on evidence-based practice, evaluation of results from nursing practices, and focusing on quality improvement (Vincent et al., 2010).

For the purpose of this discussion, I will discuss nursing informatics and clinical informatics, followed by two examples of how clinical informatics is used in my organization. I will explain how a nurse manager uses data management as a strategy to improve patient care on the nursing unit. Lastly, I will explain why President Bush mandated the implementation of the electronic health record by 2014. Although, clinical informatics and nursing informatics appear similar, and cross paths at times, each indent is different. Nursing informatics incorporates nursing science with computer and information sciences technology to manage and communicate information (New scope and standards of nursing informatics practice, 2015).
