Nicolaus Copernicus was part of the Renaissance because, he made a model which had made the sun the center more than the Earth which im sure made it like the earth is not the center of the universe. he is also well known for his inventions which are the Heliocentrism, Greshams Law, and the Copernican Principle. the Heliocentrimsm is the name that Nicolaus Copernicus made up. it positioned the Sun near the center of the Universe, with the Earth and the other planets rotating around it in circular paths modified by epicycles and at uniform speeds.
