On this day, there was a bomb that went off at the finish line which killed three spectators and also wounded two hundred and sixty people (history.com) There was a manhunt after this happened to catch the suspects. It took them four days to find the first suspect which led to the rest of the suspect findings (history.com). Investigators found out that the plan for this attack was planned on their own and wasn’t connected to a terrorist organization in any way.
The 9/11 Memorial Museum sits on 180 Greenwich Street in New York City directly where the twin towers used to sit. It was made commemorate the tragic event that happened on September 11, 2001. This is the first year that this event will be taught in history classes in high schools across the nation since this year’s high school freshman class was not born in 2001. I was about four years old when 9/11 happened and although I don’t remember when it happened it has impacted my life. Those who were arrested and eventually convicted for different criminal offenses are Roger Long, Jerry Russell Sr., John Redman, Wanda Hubbell, and Plynia Fowler. One could look at the investigations these agencies completed and evaluate them in two phases, forensic evidence and investigative processes.

Through reading “Columbine: Whose Fault is It?” by Marilyn Manson we can identify that the media had a great influence in the aftermath of the shooting, and who was the scapegoat for it, in other words who is to blame for what happened to those poor 13 innocent teenage kids. The Columbine High School massacre was an infamous event that went down as one of the worst shootings to happen to a high school in America. In 1999, a pair of two students named Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold decided to assault a school in Colorado named Columbine High School. Their intent was unknown, and because of that, many people started speculating as to why the duo decided to shoot up the school.
On September 5, 1972, eight members of the Black September terrorist group forced their way into the Olympic Village compound at the Summer Olympic Games in Munich, West Germany. They seized two apartments of Israeli athletes, eleven Israeli Olympic team members were taken hostage and held them hostage in exchange for the hostages, the terrorists demanded transport to Cairo, Egypt, as well as the release of 234 Palestinians and other prisoners held in Israeli prisons. Following the massacre, Olympic competition was suspended for one day and a memorial service attended by 80,000 spectators was held in the Olympic Stadium.
