Queen Victoria was the queen of Great Britain and Ireland from 1837.Also as empress of India from 1877 until her death in 190. She was one of the longest reigning Britain monarchs after Queen Elizabeth II. Victoria's reign saw great cultural expansion advances in industry science and communication and the building of railways and the underground. At the end of Queen Victoria's reign, she achieved a symbol of England's Pride and witnessed advancement in technology and in territorial expansion. In 1877, the Royal Titles Act was passed making Victoria Empress of India. She married her cousin Albert, Prince consort.
