One of the most important events in America's history is Boston Tea Party. The Boston Tea Party was a result of the British put a tax on the tea. The Boston Tea Party happen when a group of colonist boarded a ship and dumped 342 chests of tea overboard. This was an act of terrorism because of three reasons. First of all day hijacked the boat.
The riot began when about 50 citizens attacked a British sentinel. A British officer called in additional soldiers, and they too were attacked, so the soldiers fired into the mob, killing 5. The Intolerable Acts violated the people's privacy by the quartering act, colonist were forced to take care of troops in their own home. () Shutting down Boston Harbor hurt many tea companies and in order to reopen it, the colonists had to repay the damage, which was almost impossible.
