INTRODUCTION

“Our children’s digital lives are turning them into much different creature from us - and not necessarily for the better” (Dalton Conley, Time Magazine). Today , technology surrounds us. It has replaced man with machines, which made the working process more easier, accessible and user friendly. It has advanced with years and changed the way we live, the way we shop, the way we communicate, the way we travel, the way we learn and many other changes in our lives that is brought by the continuous progress in the development of technology. Children are mostly surrounded by technology at home and at school so much that their life cannot function without it. While technology has helped children to make lots of advancement in terms of their academics and personal development, it has also caused …show more content…

They are provided with electronics at an early age which acts as a stepping stone in their human growth and development. Expose to such facilities from the age of four or five creates physical and psychological health issues later in their life, which stays forever. Children are very young to understand the difference between good and bad, healthy and unhealthy, they learn from their surroundings, from what or whom they encounter everyday in their lives. Firstly, parents are the one closest to them and the ones who provides them with such facilities out of love and affection. Secondly, teachers on the other hand prepare them for the future. Lastly, pediatricians are the sources of building the bridge between children and their health. This three plays the most important role in a child’s life. Therefore, schools should educate parents on impact of excessive use of technology on the health of children by conducting events as, seminars and, meet and greets where pediatricians are invited to talk and educate
