Fitzgerald was made famous by The Great Gatsby mainly for his way in catching the way America was at the time of the Roaring Twenties and also how some people lived the America Dream. Fitzgerald purpose was not just creating the characters what they are not, but also to make they both act as people part of the Roaring Twenties and people who are seeing the eras passed by. Then for him make those characters fit in the Roaring Twenties, he simple puts the elements of the twenties into each and every character in the book. After that he shows how a man who looks like he is living the America Dream is really missing one piece in his life and how he try to complete his that dream and takes the risk of such a high dream.
