Unfaithfulness in a relationship has been a hot topic discussed in many settings, probably since the beginning of time. The basketball court, the beauty salon, and the barber shop, are some of the likely places in which people have been compelled to put their two cents in. We 've all huddled up in a group or at least witnessed people gather to debate over the roles men and women play in their unfaithfulness. Some debates are heated, and some are even humorous, while others allow women and men to learn more about each other in the process of exchanging ideas, feelings, and attitudes about the impact of cheating and being cheated on. Yet the age-old question still remains: Who cheats more, women or men?
Some men seem to follow a common route when developing an answer to this question. Their initial thoughts are somewhat obscured by their resistance to admit their own unfaithfulness in their relationships. But when probed further into discussion, they 're more willing to confess it as long as

Unfaithfulness can also lead to irreversible distrust, revenge, divorce and, in some extreme cases, murder. As vehement as we may be about our opinions on this subject, we must be as diligent in remembering the outcome of some of the most infamous cases of unfaithfulness. To name a few: Joey Buttafuoco and his under-aged sidepiece, Amy Fisher, who shot Mrs. Buttafuoco in the face in the heat of a jealous rage; Basketball star Kobe Bryant, who stepped out on his wife, Vanessa, when he had a sexual encounter with a woman in a Colorado hotel room, after which he was charged with rape; and let 's not forget about one of our nation 's most revered presidents, Bill Clinton, who faced impeachment after lying about his affair with intern Monica Lewinsky. The media had a field day with these cases, crowning men the kings of

The films The Nine Lives of Marion Barry and Anita, contribute to history in allowing us to go back in the past to see how we as a society chose how to handle scandals, which creates certain expectation and set boundaries during the era in which they occurred. With this information, we can then redefine the differences between events in the past and compare them today. For example, Barry was elected into office countless times after countless drug scandals surfaced about his coke addition, yet Anita Hill’s reputation was destroyed after she accused Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment. Many would consider this to be great injustice, resulting in confusion. As a result, the media plays such an important role in helping us understand and in showing how some scandals are very specific to time, place, and culture which is why people react differently to them.
2. Peers also influences a man’s unfaithfulness. When men have single friends they are convinced easily based on their influence. In the American society it is very common that men propose to women. This gives men the edge or zeal to still propose to ladies and end up being unfaithful.
This effect manifests itself from debauchery to blood doping; from Ponzi schemes to molestation; and when these ruthless acts disregard integrity, all of us are impacted—not merely Bill Clinton and Barry
The author also discussed some of the contributing factors that lead to domestic violence and sexual assault, some of which are drug abuse, alcohol abuse, and lack of respect for the opposite
Miller's portrayal of these events serves as a powerful commentary on the dangers of such behavior. Shermer argues that the increasing prevalence of mass accusations is a result of societal changes, including changes in the legal system, increased skepticism of authority,
The pressure to conform to societal norms is prominent in Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe and Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. The idealized norm of Things Fall Apart is masculinity, while in Brave New World it one of promiscuity. Being Masculine, in Things Fall Apart means withholding emotions because they are seen as weak and feminine in the village of Umuofia. Promiscuity in Brave New World means having physical relations with as many people as you can. In both novels, people who lack these traits are seen as undesirable to society.
In Lewinsky´s case, her private affair caused her to receive extreme harassment. Lewinsky stated, ¨Overnight I went from being a completely private figure to a publicly humiliated one worldwide. I was patient zero of losing a personal reputation on a global scale almost instantaneously¨ (the price of shame TED talk by Monica Lewinskey). Lewinsky admits that the scandal between her and Clinton had shamed her reputation and humiliated her. Under the belief that her potential career was over, Lewinsky admitted that she had
Today in the 21st century there are many guys who cheat on their wife and some who have an affair. Some men later on regret it and others don’t. Some cheat because they’re lacking some kind of need from their spouse and they go outside of their marriage to find comfort. Others just cheat because they can’t resist
In Rick Reilly’s article “the sins of the father” beginning with “What a fool I was”, Reilly shows his regret of making Joe Paterno, a well-know, honorable, winning football coach of Penn State Nittany Lions a saint without knowing what Paterno had done. The exigence is that Paterno, who brought 409 victories to his team, covers the Penn State child sex abuse scandal for his own benefit and reputation. Reilly takes a stance and tries to convince his audience, people who cares about football sports and cares about this particular scandal of Paterno, that what Paterno contributes to his team could not free him from his fault. Paterno should still be blamed for his indulgence towards Sandusky’s crime.
Comparison of Why I Want a Wife and Sex, Lies, and Conversation Since we are kids, there has been a battle between men and women. The conflict is also of misunderstanding reactions of each one to problems with authority, financial problems, communication, etc. Women blame men for not wanting the relationship to work, while men defend themselves, saying that women are too emotional. These happen because men and women look for different behavior from the other one.

Every year forced marriage sentences millions of women and young children to a life in slavery. It’s a crime that’s widespread, but rarely spoken about – a crime that flourishes in the shadows of society. The UN says that forced marriage is likely to increase in the coming years unless major changes occur. Due to stigma and lack of awareness about forced marriages, many people do not report cases of forced marriages. We can help ensure that people at risk and their families know that forced marriage happens, forced marriage is illegal and activists around the world are taking a stand to end the practice forever.
In Canada, many people understand marriage to be a legal union between a couple that formally recognizes their true love for each other. In other parts of the world, different cultures practice arranged marriages planned by the family or guardians of the bride and groom. Without a doubt, there are successful long-lasting love stories derived from arranged marriages. However, the whole process of an arranged marriage can have negative social implications. In my opinion, I believe that arranged marriages are wrong and should no longer be acceptable across the globe.
