The aerospace engineering in Texas A&M has a vast field of exploration leading to advance technology in space exploration, air transportation, national defense, communication and sustainable energy. The student speaker in the video was proud of their field and were satisfied with the job. Everybody wants a job that makes them happy and that is exciting and enjoyable. The advance technology studies in aerospace engineering are an interesting filed as the technologyis growing day by day and more advance technology will be develop and astound the world. Who knows in 2 or 3 years we will have a flying car and bike?

The value of the STEM system (science, technology, engineering, and math) is steering the education world in a new and positive direction, although some may believe otherwise. In Lloyd Bentsen’s article, “the United States educational system will continue to fail our children,” he talks about how he disagrees with Zakaria, another writer stating his views on the STEM system. Bentsen believes the STEM system will benefit America. In Scott Gerber’s article, “How Liberal Arts Colleges Are Failing America,” he talks about how people can correlate their majors into entrepreneurship. Lastly, in Fareed Zakaria’s article, “Why America’s obsession with STEM education is dangerous,” he shares his belief that our obsession with STEM is just a way to overlook
I’ve seen students struggle with being literate and numerate so I’m not even sure they could begin to concern themselves with becoming competent in STEM fields during high school. It would seem that educators might be more helpful to encourage students to use high school to build a breadth of knowledge in many different areas, knowing that college will be the time to build depth. High school could be used to develop the basics and apply elements from many, non-science fields to their work similar to a liberal arts approach. Providing students with a broad-based high school foundation before entering college would help develop them into well-rounded students prepared for whichever program they choose whether it’s a STEM program or not.

However, this issue does not deter me in any way; in fact, it serves as quite the catalyst. My passion for engineering inspires me to promote this field. Through my actions in high school, I have encouraged many young women to explore careers in STEM. Through my mentoring of fourth grade girls, I excite them to pursue their interests in math and science.
But that growth is constrained in two ways. It is constrained by the amount of properly trained talent, which is needed to produce innovation. And it is constrained by this talent's willingness to take the entrepreneurial risks critical to commercializing innovation" and then goes on saying that "it is hard to believe humanities degree programs are the best way to train America's most talented students" (469-471). The reality is, humanities sheds a light on the huge influence science has had, and does have on shaping society and the quality of people's lives, both negatively and positively (Dalbert, 2011). To excel in the STEM world, we must understand the impact that STEM and medicine has had on society and understand the future scientific needs.
“What actions will you take to evolve the sectors of technology and science once you graduate?” Improvement in the subject of technology and science has advanced the lives of people than ever before. The area of technology and science positively affects people’s way of living on one hand and it negatively affects people’s health on the other hand. These scientists and engineers believe that STEM education helps bridge the ethnic and gender gaps that are sometimes found in the math and science fields (Why is STEM education so important). While it is true that STEM helps bridge these gaps, there are still children left behind, kids that aren’t interested in those fields. The arts, however, encompass all of these students, which truly bridges the educational gaps found today. People also believe that, “STEM is important because it pervades every part of our lives” (Why is STEM education so important). Yes, STEM is integral to students daily lives, but a lot of what you learn in STEM classes are also learned in arts classes.
Fork in the road Right now you need to understand what a fork in the road is. A decision that changes your life one way or another, and each path has consequences. Not many people have many life changing decisions anymore.
As a dreamer and queer woman of color, pursuing a career in STEM has been quite challenging. But I have never let anything get in the way of reaching my goals and dreams. I have swam against the current in order to be where I am today, where I have dreamt of being. I am currently a second year student at Trinity Washington University majoring in biochemistry and minoring in mathematics. I am a dedicated student and an analytical and skilled critical thinker who is eager to learn.
Being a part of the STEM early college program will give me the opportunity to test my limits and learn things that will ultimately help me succeed in the future. My goal is to take in the knowledge of STEM and apply it to real life, like my career. Attending this school is a big step that I know will be difficult but I am sure that I will adapt quickly to the learning environment. I’m choosing to apply to the STEM early college because I am very interested in taking advantage of the various opportunities that help students gain real world experience. I know that being accepted into this early college will significantly help the knowledge of what I want to achieve in engineering.
During those early years, Legos triggered my early interest in engineering and construction, and I started reading advanced science books despite my young age. Soon, this passion for science was translated into excellent grades in all classes related to math, technology and research,
Ward states that “having a STEM education is definitely essential for students, but what role does it continue to play in students’ lives after they graduate and move onto becoming an adult?” The arts offer a way for students to develop necessary social skills that STEM does not offer. In the arts, one can collaborate with others. Ward argues that the arts are often undervalued in schools and are at risk of being cut from curricula due to budget constraints. This just goes to show schools budgets are so focused on STEM-related areas that schools cannot even afford to allow their students to receive an arts education.
The programme is actually helping the young people to gain a better understanding of how important the STEM subjects are for energy industry and for their futures. BP’s commitment to STEM
