In mental health there are a lot of different roles of different agencies and professionals within the assessments, both of these are for the protection of the service user and service provisions these include mental health services which are set up and run by the NHS organisations as well as some voluntary sectors there are also private companies which are paid for by or commissioned by the NHS. The substance can be a potential hazard in the residential care home as there is clinical waste and cleaning products. As the nurse and the staff member will have to make sure that the cleaning products is locked in a room so that the visitors and the residents won 't be able to go in and touch the chemical products. There is a law called COSHH Regulation 2005, which stand for Control Of Substance Hazardous to Health regulation 2005. An elderly person may choose to stay in their own homes instead of a residential care home while seeking help and support from others,however this can lead to potential opportunities for abuse happening to the person who Is being looked after. When an individual is getting support at home by a carer, the individual being cared for is vulnerable and defenseless and therefor this makes them a target for abuse,another example is abuse by strangers,when an elderly person lives alone they are at risk of people calling at the door and then gaining access to their homes,they may steal items from them or mistreat them or cause intimidation.

Knowing your audience helps you to choose which form of communication to use, for example, if I was speaking to a child I would speak calmly with a slightly high pitched voice as its more soothing towards the child, where as if I was talking to a teacher I would speak in my normal tone, depending on my relationship with the teacher, where as if I was talking to someone very important I would speak in a polite, professional manner.

The first way would be to check the 5 rights more than once and very carefully. The right patient determination is essential, and typically two-forms of identification are required. This can include checking the patients identification bracelet, asking the patient to state their name and date of birth, or scanning the barcode on the ID bracelet. The nurse must also confirm any allergies. The nurse must have the knowledge to determine if the drug prescribed is the correct drug, correct dose, correct route, and the correct time. To properly read the medication order the nurse must know all of the components and appropriately question anything that is unclear to them (Kee, 2012). To avoid drug error the drug order should be read three times. The fist check is when you review the MD order. The second check is to review the MD order with the eMar or Mar and the last check is to review the eMar or Mar with the medication. If we supposed that the service level agreement states that the system would not be offline or unavailable more than 45000 seconds a month then the goal would be to stay away from exciding the stated time. In the data from the years 2009-2017 we can see that the average total downtown is 44151.24 and we can determine that for the most part we are keeping with the goal of not exciding the 45000 mark. In the histogram, we can also see that there was also a high number of occurrences were the system was offline or unavailable for more than 45000.

This piece of work will be focusing on a child aged 18 months starting a nursery day care setting.
