One example of memorable imagery is (7)that it states of one cutting one another's throat:"...I think it will astonish our Enemies, who are waiting with confidence to hear that our Councils are confounded, like those of the Builders of Babel, and that our states are on the Point of Separation, only to meet hereafter for purpose of cutting one another's throats." This quote connects to memorable imagery because when you read it you can see that the congress is being separated and with that, the people are at each other constantly. With the people at each other, there will be fewer (3) friends during the convention. If the the congress had agreed at the Speech to the Constitutional Convention, they wouldn't (15) have been at each other's throats. The work of literature entitled The Devil and Tom Walker connects to the idea of memorable imagery. The imagery in The Devil and Tom Walker, is when the poem utters about how his home looks abandoned, pitifully sad and lonely: "They lived in a forlorn looking house, that stood alone and had and air of starvation. (16)" It connects to imagery by stating what it might have looked like. It tells us that it looks dilapidated and that it's (8)an older home. The example in When I Heard the Learn'd Astronomer is when he doesn't accept (1) what the professor is teaching, as of in charts and columns. He soon becomes sick and tired of hearing it:"When the proofs, the figures, were ranged in columns before me,'...'How soon unaccountable I became tired and sick." This quote refers to memorable imagery by it telling us what he wants to see the starts and not know the math and graphs. He soon gets annoyed and tired of hearing his professor lecture about stars, and leaves the room (18). You can see clearly well (5)that he is more hands on that the states and facts on paper. He doesn't want to learn about the stars in the hemisphere(Latin word) inside, but he would rather learn about the stars on his own outside.
