Yale is committed to improving the world … who serve all sectors of society. It was two years ago that I came across this mission statement. Strangely, it sounded familiar, and then I realized this was what my parents always taught me – to serve others.
This prompted me to research about Yale, leading me to find out a major called Global Affairs. Yale's commitment to Jackson Institute was very significant, and this major's ultimate purpose also clearly summarized my personal vision.
This combination led me to apply to Yale, and I hope to become a part of that mission.
