For developing countries, these prices increases have a negative effect on the economy; for many countries which already suffer from poverty it is difficult to use fossil fuels and this meaning these countries are obliged to choose between fuel and food, health care, education, and other essentials.
Renewable energy resources need priority because: 1) Emissions of gases that pollute the environment and cause global warming and climate change; 2) high cost;
3) Environmental damages and security threats of nuclear power; 4) the serious consequences caused by fossil fuel.
