Apollo was the Greek god of light whom was son of Zeus and Leto. Apollo was born on an island called Delos, Mikonos, Greece. When he was a baby they would say that he immediately transformed into a man. Apollo was the twin brother of Artemis, goddess of chastity. Apollo was possibly one of the most loved Greek God. They would say that Apollo was just like Helios sun god so he became one of the sun gods. Apollo has an older brother Hermes god of boundaries. Apollo was never married nor had many children but once in a while he would fall in love. They would say that Apollo would tell the future. The temple at Delphi would be where people went to find out what was going to happen in the future. Apollo’s life is similar to modern day people because many children protect there mothers as they are older such as Apollo when he protects Leto from Pythia a snake ,sort of a dragon. …show more content…

Leto was a female Titan and goddess of motherhood.She was pregnant by Zeus who’s was married to his sister Hera. Hera, aunt of Apollo, was jealous of Leto. After four days of birth Apollo defended his mother Leto from, a dragon snake, Pythia which Hera sent to chase Leto. He had many women and with those women he would have many children. One child I’m going to talk about is Asclepius, Greek goddess of medicine, son of Apollo and the gorgeous mortal Coronis. Apollo’s relationship with Asclepius was disconnected. When Asclepius was just a child Apollo took the newborn to a wise old centaur named Chiron. Chiron was an immortal god he was one of the wises centaur, half horse-half man, that was a great teacher and a mentor. So he decides to be Asclepius mentor. That was his relationship. Apollo’s relationship with others was kind, sweet, and fun mostly because he was the god of music and light.
