Some Individuals were also introduced to some other states in the United States such as Boston and New Orleans, the species were never established in New Orleans since the individuals introduced there were all males. The once introduced in the state of Boston were restricted to the greenhouses in the University of Massachusetts.

Did you know that there is numerous species that are endangered and becoming extinct? One terrestrial mammal that is experiencing threats to their extinction are lemurs, this jeopardized spices' is most common in our zoos today then in the wildlife. African islands including Madagascar is their natural habitat, and studies demonstrate that is their only home in the world because the geographical location is isolated. There are different kinds of lemurs and some of the most common ones that we know today are: the ring-tailed lemur (Lemur catta) , silky sifaka, mouse lemurs. The scientific name for lemurs is “Lemuroidea”.
Part of the secret you can’t even see, these lizards have hip joints that rotate 360 degrees, meaning that they can turn their entire torso around. All of these specialized feature allows the basilisks is run 5 feet per second! That’s an average of running 5 more than 5 miles an hour! This feat is rather amazing but the basilisk can only run for for about 10 to 20 meters before they slow down enough to sink (“Do the Lizard Walk”). Super-sized snake caught in Everglades National Park A large python, perhaps the second largest ever recovered from Everglades National Park, was captured by python research who often works within the park. The python caught in July was taken on the Shark Valley tram road and once extended was 18 feet and 3 inches long; that is only four inches off the record setting 18 foot 7 inches snake that was discovered in 2013. Whether this is a Florida record is unknown because only snakes captured inside the park are tracked officially.
