Redemption is a powerful tool used to better oneself. Weather that be in the eyes of the people, or just to ease ones mind. Chris Brown mostly wanted redemption in the eyes of his friends and fans, but also with himself. Once Brown was discovered, he went from singing in a church choir to the Bet Awards in a matter of a few years. That was all put on a hold when he was charged with domestic violence on a famous pop singer, Rihanna. After serving time in jail, he apologized to Rihanna on numerous occasions. Chris Brown’s rising hip-hop and R&B career was put to a halt once fans and the general public found out about the abuse with Rihanna. Chris Brown’s popularity in the hip-hop and R&B world quickly deteriorated once he was arrested for domestic violence; however, he redeemed himself by doing amazing performances and personally bettering himself. …show more content…
