Courage! Courage is not absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than the fear. Courage is the choice and willingness to confront agony, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation. A brave person is not one who does not feel afraid but one who conquers that fear. You will be scared and this is one of the challenges you will encounter when you are afraid. We tend to experience the fear as a sticky situation and, at worst, a serious threat to our own self-image. When you can see beyond your fear, it will be an excellent tool to find out who you think you are and who you can be. The key is to allow yourself to search carefully for what the fear is about to do to you.
