Does Peer Pressure affect the teens? Everyone talks about Peer Pressure on teens; but just how bad is it? Parents may awake at night worrying about what other teens will force their child/ children to do. Teens rarely strong arm each other into trying risky things. Teens are more likely to hang out with other teens that do the same things. Some teens were inviting to do something that sometimes can be harmful to your life. But sometimes in good way that you can achieve your dreams because they support you. According to Colombia University shows that teens are more likely to have a drink alcohol. The good news? Indirect Peer Pressure is what one sees and hears the other teenager doing like drinking alcoholic drinks or smoking. They are not inviting to do this things but it’s their decision to do that they can harmful to their lives. Direct Peer Pressure is friends directly asking someone or encouraging doing something. This is difficult to resist because teen is afraid to lose his/her friends. Positive Peer Pressure is a good type of Peer Pressure. Because his/her friends are supporting to his/her dreams and to excel. And Negative Peer Pressure is friends negatively influencing each other. Some teens are trying to talk about drugs, cigarettes, alcohol and etc. Example of Indirect Peer Pressure, when your friends or classmates have started wearing low out skirts and miniskirts. You are uncomfortable because it showing much too skin but you don’t want to look like the odd one. Example of Direct Peer Pressure, you’re inside the mall with your friends and they ask you something from one of the stores without paying for it.
