Chapter one is the introduction to environmental science. We learn about how we can studying this science, biodiversity, ecosystem, and the rate of change in the environment and how that affects us.
Environmental Science is defined as the study of the interactions among human-dominated systems and how those interactions affect the environment. Environmental Science is a relatively new science that is just as or more important than the other sciences. If we didn't have Enviromental Science we wouldn't have a science to back up our understanding of what harm we, human beings, and doing to our environment. Enviromental gives us data to support the theory that we care affecting the natural ecosystem to an extent that it might never be the same
