Sometimes, parents make the wrong decisions for their children, but sometimes they over do it and cause some problems. Lord Capulet pressured Juliet into marrying Paris until the point where she drank a sleeping potion to escape it and then eventually killed herself. This is one of the reasons why Lord Capulet is the most to blame for the actions in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Lord Capulet was part of the reason why the feud continued. He really did nothing to stop it.
This is because in the beginning he blindly agreed to marry Romeo and Juliet later bringing consequences in the play. Friar Lawrence is guilty because he gave the potion to Juliet and from that event and forward events started taking a horrible twist. All in all, the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare reflects the reality of love and its consequences and it also teaches us to not fool with young love or you can have consequences in your
Romeo decided that he was in love with Juliet upon sight without knowing who she was (Shakespeare 924). This was a terrible choice Romeo had literally no idea who she was and this could have stopped the whole conflict of the play. Romeo then ignored his dreams which he believed told his destiny (Shakespeare 921-1009). While if Romeo listened to these dreams which he believed told the future he would have been much more cautious because he would know that he was going to die prematurely. Also, by him listening to his dreams he would have made either little or no poor choices later in the play which results in his death.
Friar is to blame, not only for one action that contributed to their death, but for three actions. Friar Lawrence’s first mistake was allowing Romeo and Juliet to be able to be married so quickly without thinking it through. The Friar had intentions hoping that if he married Romeo and Juliet, it may save the family feud and put it past the families. In the play Friar Lawrence
The feud also caused the fights which led to Romeo’s banishment. Friar Lawrence allowed Romeo and Juliet to get married in secret which caused conflict in the story. The feud and Friar Laurence are to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The feud prevented Romeo and Juliet from being happily married. In Act I scene v,Juliet says, “My only love, sprung from my only hate!
If Romeo and Juliet would kill themselves if they could not be together and on thing in the way of that is the feud then the feud is just as bad as Romeo and Juliet themselves. The first thing you hear in the play is the chorus talking about how this feud led to Romeo and Juliet's death. " From forth the fatal loins of these two foes, a pair of star-crossed lovers take their life " . Though I listed my beliefs of Romeo and Juliet's death people for some reason blame other characters or
The person who caused all of the problems in Romeo and Juliet is Friar Lawrence. In the story The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare The Friar makes some pretty pour choices which ultimately led to most of the deaths in the story. The reasons why I think the Friar cause most of this is because one, The guy faked Juliet's death without informing Romeo beforehand he sent it after Juliet had drank the potion and the wedding date changed. Secondly, he married Romeo and Juliet in secrecy, but neither family gave him consent to do so. Also, he trusted somebody with a letter of great importance to deliver to Romeo and if he would have delivered it himself Romeo and Juliet would not have committed suicide.
The death of Romeo and Juliet, I believe was done by Romeo and Juliet themselves. I believe it was them for the following reasons, their rash actions, all of their secrets, and the family conflict. These things lead to the tragedy of their death, though the story is sometimes seen as a love story, today we will be talking about their death. Their rash actions were a huge part of what lead to their own deaths. Just one example was when Romeo is speaking about killing himself and lying beside Juliet “well, Juliet, I will lie with the tonight.”(Shakespeare.
The holy Friar Laurence was willing to marry the two lovers, but why was he wanting to cover up their marriage if it was supposed to put and end to the feud? Did he regret marrying them? Or was he only looking out for his own safety? In this love affair of Romeo and Juliet, Friar Laurence was the most responsible for their deaths. Friar relied too much on others for example Friar John and he did not take enough responsibilities himself.
The end of this story isn’t pretty, so whose fault was it? Friar Lawrence is the character most to blame for the tragic events in Romeo and Juliet because he was the character who assisted throughout the entire situation that Romeo and Juliet had. He agreed to marry the young lovers even though he was aware that their families were feuding, and he aided in Romeo and Juliet
