“The only thing to fear is fear itself” (Roosevelt). This quote showed his leadership style, this quote was meant to help America not be so scared; that the only thing we need to fear is our own fear inside us. This quote showed us how he helped America emotionally, he did it by being influential by giving us quotes like these. While there was many influential presidents in the United States During WWII Franklin D. Roosevelt despite being crippled he was the most liked and helped America emotionally through the war.

To begin Franklin's early life he was born January 30, 1882 and later after birth contacted polio early in his life. Franklin was an only child besides his half brother and grew up in New York
