9-11 influence me by all of those good Americans who died from the attack. And it also influenced me because I never got to see the world trade center in real life before it was destroyed. And the world trade center is something that I really wanted to see because of how unique it was. The world trade center is now a part of our history and will be in everybody’s hearts forever.
I think that during W.W.2, When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor that it was a terrorist attack. This event reminds me of 9/11 because It happened out of nowhere. We were also not at war at the time with Iraq. The same events that could relate to each other is They both devastated America, not only that but they both attacked us with planes.
America along with the other parts of the world have changed since the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Our whole security system has changed to become suspicious of everyone. Traveling out of the country and even within the United States can be a hassle with having proper ID, passport and searches. Passengers can not have a certain amount of liquid in their bags if they are carrying their bags onto the plane. The arrival time is now 2-3 hours before the flight time in past time it was only one hour.
9-12: Post-9/11 America “doug robinson: before and after 9/11” “9/11: the week before - the atlantic” “while america slept: the true story of 9/11 - NBC” “9 things you should know about the aftermath of 9/11” .hunter wade. How have the events of 9/11 and its aftermath shaped what it means to be an American? Consider the actions the government has taken after these events, how it changed people 's lives and how you think of yourself living in a post-9/11 America. “Consider that before September 11, 2001, there was no cohesive system in place to vet passengers in advance of flying; only limited technologies in place for uncovering a wide array of threats to passengers or aircraft; no comprehensive federal requirements to screen checked or carry-on baggage; and only minimal in-flight security on most flights” People stood frozen in front of their TVs for hours watching in disbelief as replays showed airlines fly into buildings and skyscrapers tumble before 9/11 you could stroll to the gate at the airport without a ticket and greet family and friends as they arrived or see them off as they
Life changes Where were you on September 11, 2001? Almost every American citizen remembers exactly where they were and what they were doing on that day because it is such a historic moment for the United States. America completely changed after 9/11 nobody’s life was the same, everyone from the President of the United States to the mailman felt the effects of 9/11, and that included my Grandfather. My grandfather is named Vernon Cotten and he is a judge in a small town in Mississippi called Carthage that has a population of 5,000. He remembers the tragedy vividly.
Life is short and precious and you never know when will be your last moment. These people who lived in New York during 9/11 can testify to that. They have suffered tremendously, and maybe one day they will be at peace. They have not only lost many lives during this attack, but have lost loved ones. There are no words to describe how hard it is too loose someone you love, whether it is a child or a parent or a friend.
On this day 4 American planes were hijacked by terrorists. These ¾ planes had hit some pretty important buildings that killed lots of people. The first plane had hit the World Trade Center. The second plane had hit the Twin Towers. The third one hit the Pentagon.
On September 11, 2001, Americans changed the way they lived their lives. They went from not worrying about their safety, to worrying about whether today was going to be their last day alive. September 11th took the lives of many innocent people that should not have lost their lives. The 911 memorial garden is the most important monument because it shows that terrorists shattered America ’s sense of safety, and courageous American citizens would give their lives in the years that followed as they fearlessly joined the fight against terrorism around the world.
Do you recall where you what you were doing on the morning of September 11, 2001? Perhaps you were at school, out of state or at your local food store. Or perhaps you can 't remember something that happened some fourteen years ago. For some, however, the mere mention of September 11 has already taken them on a journey down memory lane, as it did to me. Following the devastating September 11 attacks, which we today remember as 9/11, America has made it a top priority to increase security and to institute new regulations in order to deter the possibility of another such attack.
Race is man-made, because there is only one race in this world: the human race. American was built on the immigrants that came into this country in search of the “American Dream”, the dream of cultural freedom, the dream of freedom of speech and the freedom of being able to be who you are. American is known as the melting pot where everyone can live at piece with each other, yet racism lives on in America; racism toward Muslims. This racism has been happening for a very long time but has increased since the terrorists attack on the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001, better known as 9/11. This is a very historic attack and not only changed the fact that the Twin Towers is no longer standing but it has changed America as a whole.
September 11, 2001 is a day that shocked the world. Al-Qaeda is the terrorist organization responsible for the attacks. Bin Laden is the leader responsible for organizing the attacks. The September 11, 2001 attacks changed America forever; every aspect of public safety has heightened since the attacks. Every effort to put a stop to this “War on Terror” has been put into action.
The 9/11 tragedy was a moment where people had their guard up at all times. This was a time where life had strike to reality of time warfare with every person and country. Couldn’t trust no one that came to the U.S. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave, were brave because the generations before us had to face what had happened and to what is going to happen. This had left the buildings torn instantly killing hundreds of many people, getting them stuck in the higher floors. This attack was the worst in America ever since the Pearl Harbor All over our nation saw a major impact of devastation in the face of the September 9, 2001attacks.
Chaos. Grief. Anger. As a nation we all remember a horrific time in our history that occurred over thirteen years ago. Though I was only five years old at the time, I remember the events of September 11, 2001 as if they happened yesterday.
It is almost sixteen years since that fear was imposed on us and the age of terror began in earnest. From the moment the Twin Towers fell, 9/11 was seen as a watershed, a historical turning point of grand and irreversible proportions. With the acrid smoke still swirling above ground zero, the mantras repeated constantly were that 9/11 had ?changed everything that nothing would ever be the same.? By now we see those mantras for what they were: natural, perhaps inevitable, exaggerations in the face of
