The name of the poem is called ” Annabel Lee” and it was written by Edgar Allen Poe. “Annabel Lee” was written on October 9, 1849. Edgar wrote this during the Romantic and Gothic Era. Edger pretty much created the Gothic Era. I thought that the poem “Annabel Lee” was very romantic. I thought it was very romantic because it was not just a teenage crush it was love. In fact, it was romance. They were so in love that when the angels looked down and got jealous.
