Abstract
• The study of International Political Economy generally deals with studies relating with world economy and international relations. Since the world is globally dispersed there is necessity among scholars, academicians to have knowledge of all international norms and public relation matter which directly or indirectly play significant role while trading in cross border way. There is also one fundamental difference between both of “Schools” in terms of IPE. According to (Lake, 2006), That OEP is the essential part of “American” school of IPE whereas, the “British” school is adopting more holistic view in its core fundamental of IPE. From the extensive study from (Cohen,2007) and (Lake,2006) which states that Americans are more optimistic or constructive and they conclude with the different level theories that are supported with sound or proven or concrete evidences which may be derived earlier. On the contrast, British people are critical and reflexive in nature in their work field and attitude towards any problems. There have been many instances in future where it have been found that American version of IPE is not that accessible than what would have been accessed in British IPE version. (Cohen,2007) also emphasises on the fact that British or American people are not only differentiated in term of their geographic locations they are different in terms of cultural values and also in terms of tradition that both of the countrymen irrespective of their location. The cultural gap can be easily be justified by below diagram by (Hofstede,2003). By analysing cultural comparison it was justified that United States scored low than United Kingdom in terms of long term orientation. That means American people are less risk adverse than Britons.
