Have you ever heard of the religions Buddhism and Judaism.These are two very unique religions and have very different beliefs but then they also have a few things in common so they aren 't totally different. They are both very old religions. So first i will tell you about them and then I will compare them.

Well first I am gonna tell who the founder and who follows Judaism. Well the people who follow Judaism is Jews and the founder was Abraham and he found it in 1300 B.C. Judaism is a monotheistic religion they believe in only one god. Judaism only believe in one god and his name is Yahweh. One of their sacred text is the Jewish Bible. They have a lot of practices and holy days there holy day is Saturday there main holiday is Hanukkah. Judaism …show more content…

Buddhism is also a polytheism religion they also believe in one god. That god is name is Buddha One of their sacred texts is called both records the words of the Buddha. They have many Holy days here is a few Vesak, Four Noble Truths and Eightfold Path. The Eightfold Path of Buddhism is the eight practices called right view, right resolve, right speech, right conduct, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samadhi. So the Noble eightfold path is one of the principal teachings. The four nobles truths comprise the essence of Buddha’s teachings.

Now I am going to talk about how these religions are different.. Then they believe in two different after life 's Buddhism believes in reincarnation which means when you die you are reborn and Judaism believes in heaven or hell. The worship in different places Judaism worship in a Rabbi and Buddhism worships in a temple. Buddhism has a lot more followers they have over 300 million and Judaism has like 15 million. Buddhism was found in 500 b.c. and Judaism was found in 1300 b.c.
