Someone once expressed “Don’t let life happen to you, make life happen for you.” In other words, what I need to improve in my life is not going to happen just because. It’s going to happen because I have worked for it and I’ve changed my habits. Nobody is going to change my life for me. I have to take action for myself. In the spirit of New Years, I have made goals and plans. It’s a new year and it’s time to get out of my comfort zone and change my life for better. This fresh new year, I will drink more water, sleep less and eat no meat. How? Here’s how. Although I 've been eating meat all my life, I 'm going to change my everyday diet to no meat at all. My goal is to become a vegetarian. A vegetarian is “a person who does not eat meat, and sometimes other animal products, especially for moral, religious, or health reason,” as explained by Google. Because becoming a vegetarian leaves you to eating producers like lettuce, beans, spinach and other producers, it will give you the enough proteins you need. It is really healthy for you. Becoming a vegetarian not only cleans the interior of your body, but it also serves as medicine. A couple weeks ago, I was in health class. We were watching watching a documentary on vegetarians. Basically, the vegetarian plant based diet helped many sick people to live again. They no longer needed their medication.
